I {heart} you

This is one of my favorite invitation designs of the year...its so adorable and makes me think back to grammar school when everyone would draw hearts in their notebooks. What a sweet wedding theme this would be. Don't you think?

Best Christmas ever...

H and I escaped to Mendocino for Christmas. It was fantastic! We were able to relax and do our own thing which usually doesn't happen during the holidays. A few months ago I found this great little bed and breakfast called Brewery Gulch Inn and thought it would be prefect for our getaway. And, it was!

Here is the Inn...only 10 rooms so its pretty small.

Our room was really cozy and had a fireplace and a flat screen TV so we pretty much lazed around and watched tons of movies (5 to be exact) it was fantastic.

On Christmas morning we opened some gifts and had an amazing breakfast at the Inn. Then we ventured out to the bluffs, had lunch and a few drinks. Good times.

Mendocino is one of my new favorite destinations. Its seriously beautiful. This was the view from our room. Its a pretty nice way to wake up in the morning.

The town is really cute...and you cant beat the scenery.

{I'll be back to my regular posting tomorrow. Hope you all had a great holiday!}

Homemade treats...

Baking cookies for friends and coworkers is something I love to do during the holidays. Last week I brought 10 dozen of my favorites to the office and tonight im going to make a bunch just for me (and I might share with H)

Adding a "From the kitchen of" tag or label is a great touch. I love this rubber stamp from ETSY shop Terbearco.

You could also include the recipe on these adorable personalized cards from Paisley Prints (unless its top secret).

I have no top secret recipes which is why im sharing my 2 most favorite ones with you. Enjoy my friends!

Peanut butter cup cookies

Chocolate covered macaroons

Great gifts...

I recently made a photo album on Blurb of our wedding pics for my parents. It made a great gift so I decided to make another one for my Nans & Gramps and will send one to H's folks as well.

I've tried a few of the photo book programs and by far Blurb is the easiest to work with and the quality is great. They ship really fast too.

Check out this one I just ordered for my Grandparents..on the last page I put one of our wedding photos along side their wedding photo. My Nans is gonna love it (im sure she will shed a tear...or five)

Tag...you're it

I've been blog tagged by both Marianne and Stephanie. Here it goes....

The rules:
1. Link to the person that tagged you
2. Post the rules on your blog
3. Share six non-important things/habits/quirks about yourself
4. Tag six random people at the end of your post by linking to their blogs
5. Let each random person know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their website.
6. Let your tagger know when your entry is up.

6 things about myself:

1. I have a cat named Lola. She is very fat (about 16 lbs) We think dressing her up is funny.

2. I love to cook and have secret dreams of being on the food network.

3. I am terrified of cotton balls. I don't know what it is but they way they feel freaks me out. In college my roommate found out about my fear and put hundreds of cotton balls all over our dorm room. I about had a heart attack.

4. I used to ride horses and was pretty good (at least I think I was). When I was 16 I qualified to go to Madison Square gardens in NY for one of the biggest horse shows in the country but my parents made me choose...horses or college. Ummm...I picked College. I think it was a smart choice. I still have my horse. His name is Arvis. I've had him since I was 13. He lives at my parents ranch and is 24 years old now. That's him (and me!)

5. Speaking of college...I went to Sonoma State University and have a degree in Environmental Science.

6. My parents have a donkey named Curly. She is the cutest!

Blogs im tagging (I don't really know these people but I like their blogs :)
1. Angela @ VegSF
2. Alyssa @ Suburban Chic
4. Faith @ I Pray to Gouda

If its FREE its for MEEE!

I love free stuff which is why im excited about all of these down loadable gift tags from Delight. All you need is some good quality paper and a pair of scissors and you are all set! Download them here.

Im sure you are sick of my holiday posts so i'll have some other stuff tomorrow!

After Thanksgiving I took a little blogging vacation but im back now! Hope you all had a great one.

I wanted to share these super cute "print it yourself" Santa address labels which I found on the Creature Comforts blog. I wish I would have seen these yesterday before I addressed all of our holiday cards. Bummer!
